Just across from the Holy Monastery of the Archangels (Taxiarchon), we find the little church of the Life Giving Spring (Zoodochos Pigi) with its small cemetery. Next to the little church, there is a sacred chamber that serves as an ossuary. The church was renovated in 1968, the same year the ossuary was constructed. The work was supervised by Averkios Chrysoloras, who was then the abbot of the monastery.
