Lakkos

From Profitis Ilias at Vounia, there leaves a reasonably passable dirt road that goes towards the little Churches of the Virgin Mary of Roudiani (after 2,300 metres) and the Virgin Mary the Kamaroti (after 3,400 metres). Roudiani is on a ridge (after 390 metres) that goes down NW towards Karavas, while to our right in the background further north there stands out the Sykamia bay. The Virgin Mary the Kamaroti is situated further north and this too is on a ridge but a lower one (at 315 metres). A 600 metre footpath starts here towards Lakkos and the little Church of Saint Ioannis.
