Continuing to the southeast on the dirt road from the Convent of the Annunciation (Evangelistria), after less than 500 meters we will see a sign on our left indicating the existence of archaeological finds. A short path will lead us to the Cave of the Cyclops (Polyphemus) and Psaropourgo. It is said that the islet of Garbia at the southwest edge of the bay of Kalo Ampeli is the rock that the blinded Polyphemus threw onto Odysseus to stop him. Unfortunately, the dirt road that continues for two kilometers toward the edge of the Cape of the Cyclops with its beautiful view stops at a locked gate. The site is owned by the Convent of the Annunciation. If you go there in a car, you can only return in reverse!
