Festival in Honor of the Holy Spirit in Liomantra

The Festival in honor of the Holy Spirit (Agiou Pnevmatos) takes place every year at the Church of the Virgin Mary (Panagia) in Liomantra on the north side of the island. The church celebrates another three times every year! (Zoodochos Pigi, or the Life Giving Spring, five days after Easter; Analipsi or the Ascension one week before Holy Spirit day; and Dekapenteavgusto, the 15th of August, the Assumption.)
