Paralia Sikias (which means Sikia or Sykia Beach) is the seaside settlement of the village of Sykia, which lies farther inland, 2 kilometers from the sea. Paralia Sikias is basically a holiday resort that stretches out behind a long beach. Most of its buildings house rooms for rent, vacation homes, restaurants, or cafés. The settlement also has many campgrounds. Its location makes it an ideal base for nearby excursions.
