Built on a hill on the northeast side of Sidirokastro, the Holy Monastery of Saints Kirykos and Iouliti (Iera Moni Agion Kirykou ke Ioulitis) is a women's convent (sometimes called a monastery in Greece, where the same word is used for monasteries and convents). Founded in 1968, it is open to the public for visits and celebrates on July 15.
