Arriving at Plataniotissa from Valta and before we go into the village, we can see on our right a dirt road going off southwards. This accessible road connects Plataniotissa with Skepasto (about 8km) and with Kerpini (about 6km). It is worth making this trip and along our way visiting different points of interest (chapels, sources, old buildings etc) which have been described in EG.
