Narrow Bridge over Vouraikos River

The whitewater of the Vouraikos River crosses Kato Zachlorou and passes under the metal railway bridge in the village centre. Walking a little further up, after the bridge, we can see on our right, a signpost showing the direction 'To Vouraikos River'. A short footpath of 5min takes us beside the river where a narrow concrete bridge connects the two banks of the river. The signpost also informs us that in 1959 this footpath was used in scenes of the film 'Astero ' with Aliki Vougiouklaki.
