Dormition of the Virgin Mary

The Church of the Dormition of the Virgin Mary, in the upper part of the hamlet in Lapata. Of special interest in the village is the War Memorial in the courtyard of Church of the Dormition of the Virgin Mary, in honour of the victims of the bombardment of the village and of neighbouring Trechlo, by German Stukas on the 29th July, 1943. Beside the memorial, there is a rusty shell of a bomb that did not explode.
