Virgin Mary

The Panagitsa, the little Church of the Dormition of the Virgin Mary, is situated inside thick undergrowth, just after Boumpoukas (SW) following the road that passes through the village (becoming a passable dirt road) and going in the direction parallel with the flow of the River Manesaiikos (a tributary of the Selinoudas). Before the church, we can see the Kefalovrysso (a main source with abundant water). The church was founded in 1979 and completed in 1981.
