180 years ago Skepasto (then Busoka) was situated 3-4km to the north of today's village. Today, nothing remains of the old village (today's residents call it the 'Upper Village') apart from the churches that have remained scattered throughout the area, cared for and maintained by the Skepasto residents, such as: Church of the Virgin Mary, Saint Athanasios, Zoodochos Pigi, Taxiarche and of Saint Georgios. We get to the 'Upper Village' along a passable, wide dirt road that starts from the northern limit of Skepasto. This road continues and branches left towards Drosato and right towards Plataniotissa and Kerpini.
