(Vissoka, Vissotia, Vissoka)

A very lovely village, with impressive town planning, 4km west of Kalavryta and opposite Saint Lavra. The history of the village goes back to the 15th century, while pre-war it enjoyed considerable economic development. It was bombed by the German forces on the 29th November 1943 killing 13 residents. On the 14th December 1943, after the Kalavryta holocaust on the 13th, the village was set on fire by the German forces.
