Selinountas Bridge at Vlasia

Arriving at Vlasia from Metochi, before we go up the road to the left to enter the village, we can visit the Selinountas River that passes under the road at the exact point that we are referring to. There is an information board that states that work is in progress for the protection and development of the ecosystem and in particular the aesthetic and ecological value of the Selinountas Gorge, funded by the European Union. The road passes above a large, single arched bridge. We can go down to the river bed along a small footpath that starts at the road, by the information board.
