Prophet Ilias Peak

A dirt road starts from Kouteli that 'climbs up' the peak of Prophet Ilias and to the homonymous little church at 1,330 metres (500 metres higher than the village centre). The view from here towards all the points on the horizon is amazing. All the geography and villages of the region are formed before us like an enormous map. Kertezi and Kallifoni to the south, the Kalavryta plains to the east with Krastikos and Lagovouni higher up and of course to the north below us, like a painting, is Kouteli.
