Prophet Elias

A dirt road starts from Kouteli that climbs up to the peak of Profitis Ilias, with the little church of the same name at 1,330 meters (500 meters higher than the center of the village). The view from here toward all the points on the horizon is amazing. The landscape and villages of the region lay before us like an enormous map. Kertezi and Kallifoni to the south, the Kalavryta plain to the east, Krastikoi and Lagovouni higher up, and of course to the north below us, like a painting, is Kouteli.
