Pass with View to Prophitis Ilias

A very lovely walking excursion from Kamenianoi is the footpath that leads to the hill of the Prophet Ilias at 1,182 metres (difference in altitude from the start is about 250 metres, total time 30-40min). Along the way, the footpath loses itself in the first pass (with a very lovely view towards Kamenianoi from up high at 1,030m) and continues after, with no footpath, in the direction towards the peak (to our left sideways). Along the way, we come to a second pass at 1,130 metres where a shrine has been erected and finally, a third and last pass that is found at the height of the peak (we continue to the end left). Very beautiful view at 1,200 metres of the slopes of Erymanthos and the surrounding villages. At the peak, we find a shrine, the concrete column of the Armed Forces Geographical Service and a small, stone fortification at the edge above the cliff.
