Coming down the ski resort road towards Kalavryta, at 2,000 metres after the junction for the cave of the Lakes, we can see on our right the start of a dirt road with an open bar. We turn without any problem (the bar does not close) and continue until we arrive at a glade and a shrine. If we continue straight ahead, the road becomes difficult (and we need 4X4) but cross it and it is really worth the effort as it ends in a fir tree spot called 'Gremoulias' or the Monastery of the Saints Theodori. Archaeological excavations were carried out here 2005-2008 in cooperation with the Austrian Archaeological Institute which revealed the remains of a Doric temple of the post classical years with marble tiles.
