Towards Oria Castle

Leaving Vrachni, we turn left at the Church of Saint Athanasios. A very lovely forestry road with fir trees (6km) starts from here that ends behind the Oria Castle in Kalavryta, (again) below the little Church of Saint Athanasios. Leaving Vrachni, we can see before us a plane tree covered area with running water and a stonebuilt fountain. Stopping here and following to the left the flow of the water, we can find the sources of the water 100m further up, which form small waterfalls and little lakes.
