The fossilized palm forest in Agia Marina, which reaches down to the sea, may be one of the most beautiful marine landscapes in Greece. Below the white rocks, the light blue water of the bay of Nymphaea spreads out like a huge swimming pool, with idyllic little beaches next to it. We can find this ‘beach’ shortly before the palm forest (coming from Profitis Ilias). Turn right on the last dirt road and drive down toward the sea until it ends. Actually, this is not a beach, but white rocks and a small cove with beautiful water. For sea access, steps have been carved into the rock (see photo).
