One of the most beautifully “decorated” Greek caves. It stands out mainly for the density of its stalagmites, which is greater than in any other Greek cave. The cave was discovered in the beginning of the last century by the shepherd Kostas Stivaktas, but it did not become more widely known or explored until 1958. This 1,500 square meter cave is more than 3 million years old, and we can visit a 500-meter route in the summer, when it is open for guided tours from 10:30 AM to 5:30 PM (7 euros for adults and 3 for children). There is a well-tended refreshment room as well.
