Limnes

From Pantanassa we descend again to the provincial road to Neapoli and pass straight across it to head toward the beaches and the small settlement of Limnes. The name Limnes, which means 'Lakes,' was inspired by the small lakes in the area that are used for irrigation purposes. Arriving at the coast, we will see (on our right) two large continuous beaches with sand and pebbles. Marathias is down the road to the right, and Platanias is to the left.
