The impressive cathedral of Elika. Founded in 1850, the older church of Saint (Agios) Charalambos is located in the upper part of the village. Work on this newer cathedral began in 1912 and was completed in 1958 with assistance from the Saint Charalambos Association of former Elika residents in America.
