The castle of Ioannis Palaiologos, administrator of Itylo and Methoni in the mid 15th century. It is an imposing defensive complex with ancient remains embedded in parts of the walls. The Giatrianoi-Dekouloi families inherited it and donated it for use as an elementary school after 1821.
