A narrow strip of land connects Kotronas with the Skopa peninsula (the sea citadel of ancient Tefthroni). On each side, there is a small, beautiful pebbly beach. On the northwestern side of the right hand beach, there are remains of Roman Thermal Baths. The sea by that beach still has many warm currents today.
