The largest church in Kastro towers up on its western limit. The Church of the Virgin Mary Pantanassa was built at the beginning of the 18th century and the church's shrine is also dated to then. Many popular works of art decorate the interior of the church, while the view from the church grounds reaches as far as Milos and Kimolos.
