Spring of Mersini

At the beginning of Path Three (3) from Mersini to Livadi, as soon as we descend the wide, paved path, we can make a small detour to the left to visit the spring of Mersini with its large plane tree. Although a Cycladic island, Donoussa has three natural springs (the other two at the Mines and in Kalotaritissa), but the spring of Mersini provides by far the most water, and is used the most.
