The beautiful little church of the Virgin Mary (the Panagia) is located 500 meters east of Stavros on a hill, at an elevation of 70 meters. In fact it is a sort of double building, established, according to the dedicatory inscription at the entrance, in 1892. Beautiful view of Stavros, the beach, and its harbor. Kedros Beach is southeast of the church.
