Northern Tip of Kato Koufonisi

A very smooth 1,700 meter hiking trail begins at the Church of the Virgin Mary (Panagia) and leads to the northern tip of the island, across from the port of Pano (Upper) Koufonisi, which is just 1/4 of a nautical mile away. It is worth extending our trip a bit to walk along the coastline and visit eight beautiful, unique beaches on the way to the northern tip of the island. Here, we will end up at a very beautiful beach, with Pano Koufonisi in the background.
