Chora

Chora in Pano Koufonisi is a simple town with Cycladic architectural elements. The touristic element is very obvious there these days, with numerous lodgings (more than 120), restaurants, caf?s, bars, and shops. Both here and throughout the island, distances are small, so you can cover every part of the town on foot in less than one day. The main church of Chora and the island is the Church of Saint George, or Agios Georgios, while Ammos Beach is very beautiful for the first swim of the day. For a beautiful view of Chora from above, head to the outdoor chapel of the Prophet Elias.
