The main coastal road stops at the end of Finikas and continues north to the village of Charakopou. A sandy path by the sea at the end of the parking lot behind the taverna leads us to the 300 meter long sandy beach of Fanos in less than 200 meters. Near the beginning of the path, we see a much smaller, beautiful beach with sand and pebbles which we highly recommend. Fanos Beach resembles Finikas Beach and is one of the best on the island. Behind the beach, food and lodging are available.
