Sea Pool at Limni

A very beautiful hiking trail approximately 3,500 meters long starts at Ammos Beach in the center of Chora and proceeds along the seaside to Pori Beach. Along the trail, we come across many large and small beaches, both sandy and pebbly, all beautiful, with tempting water. Less than five minutes' walk from the Neighborhood of Peace (Geitonia tis Eirinis), we come to the first beach on our our right, Limni Beach. A small indentation in the coastline with pebbles and a rocky seabed, it got its name from a small sea lake that formed in the rocks in front of the sea a little farther down. We will find something similar but more beautiful and more impressive later at Pisina (Pool), just before Mati tou Diavolou (the Eye of the Devil) and Pori Beach.
