Peak of Vardia

Although nearly flat, Koufonisia also has a peak in Vardia at 115 meters. We can reach it relatively easily by a short path (with a change in altitude of just 30 meters) that starts to the left of the road that passes the only gas station on the island and ends at the waste collection point. From this point, where we will also see the cement column of the Military Geographic Service (GYS), we can enjoy a panoramic view of the main town of the island, Chora.
