"The peninsula of Gala in the northeastern part of the island, between the bays of Xylobatis and Pori. Because of the porosity of the soil, unique rock formations were created along the coastline. We can walk on and admire them while making the round of the peninsula (about 1,000 meters). At its eastern end, we will see the most impressive formation, which leads to a lovely pebbly beach that is hidden among the rocks. It is said that the name Gala, which means ""milk,"" comes from the white color of the foam generated inside the cave by the turbulence of the sea."
