Saint Nicholas

Following the easy trail that begins at the western end of Piso Ammos Beach in Mersini and ends in 800 meters, we arrive at the tip of the peninsula, between the bay of Mersini and Sifneiko. There, on the edge, along with the waving blue and white Greek flag, stands the solitary little white church of Saint Nicholas (Agios Nikolaos). If you have time, sit there and enjoy watching the boats, large and small, as they come and go in the sea passage between Iraklia and Schoinoussa, with beautiful Iraklia in the background. These are images that you will remember forever.
