The largest and most splendid beach on the island, about 300 metres in length, it is located 1.5km south of Agios Georgios harbor and village, at the end of Mourtos cove. Shallow water and sandy, a beach open to the meltemi winds due to its north east orientation. Above Livadi, the ruins of the Hellenistic castle stand guard over the area. At the eastern end of the beach there starts a footpath 700 meters long that ends above the steep sea caves of Agriomelissa.
