Aghios Georgios

The port of Iraklia is located in the Bay of Agios Georgios or Tourkavlakos. It is a natural harbor which offers protection to the island and allows vessels to approach land, whatever the season and weather. The largest settlement on the island, the village of Agios Georgios begins at the edge of the beautiful sandy beach of the same name and extends to the south.
