The church of the Transfiguration of the Savior (Metamorphosis tu Sotiros) at the western edge of Mesohori, above the cemetery. Built in 1708 (or, according to others, in 1821), it is an imposing church with exceptional architecture. It suffered significant damage in the 2006 earthquake.
