The church of the Dormition of the Virgin Mary (Kimisi tis Theotoku), the church for a monastery founded in 1300 by Irene (Eirini) Palaiologou which was active until 1821. Paradeisi was a religious center in the Byzantine era, and we will find several Byzantine churches in the area around the village.
