The Municipal Information Office is one of the most important services in Serifos!
It basically functions as a welcome center for visitors, since the staff provides information to the public about
- Ship timetables
- Local bus routes
- Taxi phone numbers
- Hiking trail guides
- The attractions of the island
- Accommodation and dining, etc., including contact information.
Open now for its second year, the office serves the public from 9 a.m. to 12 midnight (during the summer), seven days a week.
It operates under the supervision of the association of studios and apartments for rent, which is called "O Taxiarchis," and is staffed mainly by volunteers from the club.
