Among the olive trees on the opposite side of the Aeropoli-Gerolimenas road from the church of the Diocese stands the little 12th century Byzantine church of Saints Sergius and Bacchus (Agii Sergios ke Vakhos). Also called 'Tourloti,' it is considered one of the most important churches in Mani.
