Skopa Peninsula

The breathtaking Skopa peninsula east of Kotronas, site of the sea citadel of ancient Tefthroni and port of ancient Pyrrichos. Today, some remains survive that date back to the Roman era. The church of Saint Nicholas (Agios Nikolaos) was built there on top of the ancient temple of Artemis Issoria.
