A narrow strip of land connects Kotronas with the Skopa peninsula (the sea citadel of ancient Tefthroni). On each side, there is a small, beautiful pebbly beach. In the winter, the sea sometimes covers part of the strip of land, making the peninsula into the island it resembles.
