The script is written by Lefteris Papapetrou, who gave us unique moments with "You Are My Mate." Returning to the TV series after "7 Deadly In-Laws," the beloved Vicky Stavropoulou stars.
The story: A golden boy lands abruptly in the exotic Kato (Lower) Partali, a village in mountainous Arcadia with many beauties, many secrets, and very special inhabitants. Because of the crisis, the successful advertising executive Konstantinos loses his job and (along with it) the ground under his feet. His life, a constant party in Mykonos, nightclubs, and beach resorts with a break for the spa and the gym, must change radically, although he never expected that lifestyle to end.
When his partner, Myrto, suggests that they go to her village, Kato Partali, to explore the possibility of moving there and working in agrotourism or alternative activities, or in the end simply seeing the famous ... Loquat Festival, Konstantinos accepts reluctantly. And because he needs reinforcements, he suggests that his sister, Vivian, accompany them. Having caught her indebted husband with two sex partners, Vivian, an exuberant socialite born and raised in Vouliagmeni, accepts her brother's suggestion for a change of scenery.
The family of Myrto is waiting for them in Kato Partali: her tough, proud father, Diamantis, and her sweet, seemingly innocent mother, Moschoula, who actually notices everything. Nearby is Vlassis, Myrto's former boyfriend, who has never ceased to love her.
The village and its people, however, are not what the well-bred Athenians initially imagined and understood. The surprises and twists and turns that will arise are not confined to the clash of two different worlds but have to do with well-hidden secrets.
Maybe the phrase "things are not as they appear" sounds somewhat trite, but in "Kato Partali" it will find its ultimate expression!
