Grand Chalet

Grand Chalet Café and Restaurant. An imposing traditional building right across from the historic Monastery of Mega Spileo, above the Vouraikos Gorge. A stop for almost all visitors to the monastery, the Grand Chalet sells traditional local products such as the characteristic loukoumia (the Greek Turkish delights) made from grape must. A little below the Chalet, a picturesque path begins that ends at the very beautiful village (and tourist attraction) of Kato Zachlorou after about 30 or 35 minutes.
