The Isthmus Monument, in honor of the Hungarian engineers who studied and designed the wonderful Corinth Canal in the 19th century. The study for the project was carried out by the Hungarian Béla Gerster, chief architect of the Fragiskos Canal in Hungary. The Corinth Canal was completed in 1893.
