Faneromeni

A short distance from the prisons, we find the church of Faneromeni, a dependency of the convent of the Virgin Mary the Golden Lioness (Panagia Chrysoleontissa). In the underground area of the church, which is also called the catacomb, there are two chambers dedicated to the Virgin Mary and Saint Athanasia of Aegina.
