The church of Saint Nicholas (Agios Nikolaos) is the third largest church in the town of Aegina. From the entrance to the harbor, the two tall bell towers, one with a clock, stand out from afar. There used to be a 5th or 6th century cathedral, a large basilica (of Vardas), nearby, but it no longer exists today.
