Σφηνωμένη στα βράχια είναι η Μονή της Παναγίας Αμπελακίου, με την θαυματουργή εικόνα της «Παναγίας της Μακελλαρίτισσας», η οποία, σύμφωνα με την παράδοση, είναι δημιούργημα του Ευαγγελιστή Λουκά. Από τον βράχο, δίπλα στο καθολικό, αναβλύζει ιερό αγίασμα.
Embedded in the rocks is the Monastery of the Virgin Mary of Abelaki (19thC) with its miraculous painting 'Virgin Mary Makellaritissa', according to tradition, the creation of the Apostle Luke. From the rock, next to the catholic, spurts holy water.
