After we leave Akovos on the way to Goupata, we will find a dirt road that leads to the summit of the Agiolias hill above the village, with a lovely view of the whole valley and the surrounding area. The small church of the Prophet Elias (Profitis Ilias) was built in 1908 and renovated in 2005.
