Kolokotronis Manor

Karytaina Castle was picked by Geros of Morias as his base in his struggle against Ibrahim. He fortified it in 1826 at his own expense, and built the house whose ruins can be seen here, opposite the Church of the Virgin Mary where he worshipped.
